John has spent time in investment banking and corporate finance, focusing on mergers and acquisitions and capital raising for public and private companies. He provides valuable insight on financial valuation analysis and has a passion for helping people.
When John is not working, he can be found spending time with his wife and daughters, reading, exercising or cheering on his beloved Jayhawks. John is a volunteer at Junior Achievement of Greater Kansas City (former Board member), an organization dedicated to providing programs to promote financial literacy, inspire entrepreneurship, and prepare students (K-12) for success in the workplace.

John serves as the President and CEO of Wealth Management Consultants. John was a Managing Director at Merrill Lynch and a Senior Vice-President at Smith Barney CitiGroup. As a consultant John has also served as President/CEO at Community America Financial Services and Managing Partner at Thrivent Financial.
John practiced law with a major national law firm and served as General Counsel for Fortune 500 companies. John serves on numerous charitable and private boards, and is actively engaged in church and community on both local and national levels.
